7 months

Reed has been on the precipice of crawling for over a month now! He’s able to get both feet standing with both hands on the floor, rocking on hands and knees, scooting, rolling, picking up hands and knees… Everything but crawling. He manages to make it across a room though, so maybe it doesn’t matter if he can’t crawl. **in the 2 days it took me to get this post online he started a clumsy crawl! He even randomly pulled to standing once using the couch. I was so surprised I yelled and startled him- causing him to fall on his bum. Haha! **

He’s got two teeth! The first popped up about 3days before 7mos. The 2nd wasn’t ready, but with a little blood and a lot of determination, the crazy guy jailbroke tooth #2. Looks like the two uppers are on their way down as well.

He’s babbling and doing a cute little scream thing non-stop these days. He’s almost totally grown out of his 9mo clothes and is into 12 mo sizes. This is a problem, as he’s now opposite seasons from Grey. He needs to slow down a bit, Or I’m going to need to get him a whole new wardrobe! BUT, this means he’s healthy and growing!

He is still pretty obsessed with grey. They have lots of little games, and it makes my heart swell to see Grey work so hard to make Reed smile and laugh. Grey has been singing more lately and will bust out with twinkle twinkle if he sees an upset little bro.

Reed is doing a bit better in the car. I really hope I’m not jinxing myself.

Grey is still loving school and is such a big boy! I just love our conversations. He’s a smart, sweet, kid. I can’t believe these are the terrible twos. Sure, he hides from me when it’s time to get in the car and he pushes our buttons when he wants, but that stuff is actually hilarious if you wait til later to think about it. 😉
